This book is turning out to be longer than I thought it would. The 130,000-word marker passed about 350 words ago without my noticing, so I don’t know what the word was, not that it matters.
I am right in the middle of the climax, so there isn’t much further to go. This chapter to complete and then a final one to write in which loose ends will be tied up, and that will be that – prior to editing, proofreading and final checks of course.
